Time for a road trip

Gordon's Hubcaps: New & Used

Cooper rides shotgun

Revelstoke after sunset

Last week, we took 5 days and drove to Kelowna and back, with Cooper as a backseat driver. Along the way, we had to beg for a deeply discounted rate at the Chateau Lake Louise at 2am (success, my friends!), saw an awful lot of hubcaps, cried a little over mortgages, drank the best iced mocha in the world in Revelstoke, swam in the lake with Cooper, stoped at a cheesy (and overpriced) roadside fruit stand near Vernon, ate incredibly hot (but tasty) Mexican food in Revelstoke again, and had a little work-related break from the day to day in Calgary.

Our primary reason for the trip was to visit a few yarn shops in BC because we’re now representing several lines of yarn. So, this was our first little sales trip. It went really well, and we had a nice chance to reconnect along the way. Cooper just loves being outside, so that was really great, to watch him hike, swim, pounce, run, and explore.

Cooper looks bigger. (I just realized someoone else said the same thing!). But really, he’s growin’ up and still lookin’ cute.

Cooper is really starting to have the elongated face/snout of a big dog – still adorable as ever though! And the other pictures are nice too 😉
