Year of Lace 2008
Many of you have noticed that little badge over on the right hand side of the page. Or the knitty ads we placed. Or maybe you haven’t noticed it yet.
I am thrilled to announce a new subscription-based yarn club for 2008. We’re calling it the Year of Lace. We’ve hired some top-notch designers to create original and exclusive lace knitting patterns. And, we’re working with some amazing yarn companies to provide at least a few yarns or colourways you haven’t before seen, and probably won’t see again. The best part? A seasonal kit is delivered straight to your door every three months.
All the details can be found on the swanky new yearoflace.com. The cost changes for shipping depending on where you live, of course, but it works out to around $60USD a kit, including pattern, yarn, and shipping. Considering we’ve got Cashmere on the brain for one of the kits, it ain’t a bad deal.
So. Go check out the site. Let me know what you think. I’m pretty darn excited.
