Olympic Knitting –completed!
February 26th, 2010
While watching something other than the Olympics last night, I cast off the monstrous cowl and wove in about thirty five ends, due to the surgery performed earlier in the week.
I was scared to put it on. See, I’d tried it on last week, and it fit absolutely perfectly. What if the changes I’d made to the armholes didn’t work out right? What if this (third!) version of the cowl still didn’t sit exactly right?
What if I had to rip back again?!?
Luckily, it fits great. And I love it. And it’s exactly what I’d pictured when I first cast on.
Happy Friday, everyone!

Oh yay! The sweater looks fantastic and you look soo soo happy in it! Will this be a pattern you share because I think it would great on lots of people, but I totally understand if you just want that something special for yourself. I really does look fantastic. And kudos to you for being brave enough to do that surgery. I don’t think I could have done it!

Thanks Jamie! Yep, I’ll be publishing the pattern soon. I need to do a photo shoot and the sizing and editing and layout. Hopefully this weekend.

Happy Friday, indeed. This looks great. It’s a wonderful design, something different, not a sweater, not a vest. It’s lovely and the yarn and color are beautiful.

I wanted to start knitting on this one the minute I saw it. Can’t want to get my hands on this pattern.
